MEASURING WINDOWS

Standard Windows

  1. Sketch your window as viewed from inside the room.
  2. Take all measurements from inside, recording them in centimeters or inches.
  3. Width: Measure from reveal to reveal (left to right).
  4. Height: Measure from the window sill (cill) to the head (top of opening).
  5. Record the largest measurement to ensure proper fit.
  6. Depth: Measure the window depth (frame thickness) from the front face of the window frame to the back edge, using the visible side of the window opening.

📌 Tip: Do not include trims or architraves in your measurements.

MEASURING BAY WINDOWS

Bay windows require multiple measurements due to their angles.

  1. Draw a simple sketch of your bay window from the inside.
  2. Measure each individual window width as marked in your sketch.
  3. Measure the full width across the bay.
  4. Measure the depth from the window edge to the furthest point of the bay..
  5. Measure height from the cill to the head.

MEASURING FRONT & BACK DOORS

  1. Sketch your door as viewed from inside the room.
  2. Measure the opening width from reveal to reveal.
  3. Measure height from the floor to the head of the opening.
  4. If your door includes side panels, measure each panel separately.
  5. Note door type (single, double, pivot, or with sidelights).

📌 If unsure, submit approximate measurements—final sizing is always confirmed before order.

  1. Sketch the door system from inside the room.
  2. Measure the total width of the opening.
  3. Measure height from the finished floor to the head.
  4. Indicate the number of panels and opening direction if known.
  5. Note whether the door opens inward or outward.
